Predictions for Week 4:

Arizona Cardinals @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

With TB dumping QB Freeman for rookie Glennon, the Buccaneers will get a boost. Fortunately, this week will be the week because they will lean on Doug Martin late in the game to put the Cardinals away.

Prediction: Buccaneers 17, Cardinals 13

Pittsburg Steelers @ Minnesota Vikings (London)

“Big Ben” playing in London???  Come On Man!!!  I like Pittsburgh’s defense a little more and the Steelers win in a boring game.

Prediction:  Steelers 24, Vikings 14

Dallas Cowboys @ San Diego Chargers

Romo should pick apart this San Diego secondary, because the WR corp is better than the Charger D-Backs and Romo should have plenty of time. Rivers won’t.

Prediction:  Cowboys 33, Chargers 21

New England Patriots @ Atlanta Falcons

The Patriots D-backs versus Julio Jones, Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez is a bad one for NE. The Falcons get back to even with the Sunday night win.

Prediction:  Falcons 32, Patriots 28

Miami Dolphins @ New Orleans Saints

The Dolphins are a solid 3-0 football team, but the Saints are too tough at home. Look for another big game from Jimmy Graham. I don’t see Tannehill exchanging TD passes with Brees.

Prediction:  Saints 35, Dolphins 21

Results for Hole # 3:

Prediction: Chiefs 21, Eagles 17 Win:  It seems that Alex Smith and Andy Reid are on the same page and Mike Vick and Chip are not.  This one was easy…

Prediction: Bengals 24, Packers 23 Win:  The Bengals totally harassed the Packers and Rogers all game long with a crazy defensive scheme.

Prediction: Lions 33, Redskins 24 Win:  The last time the Lions beat the Redskins in DC was 1935. That streak is now over.  A late fumble cost the Skins this one.

Prediction: Texans 28, Ravens 24 Loss: WOW!!  Didn’t see this one at all.  I’m glad I changed starting QB’s from Luck to Schaub!!!   DOH!!!

Prediction: Dolphins 28, Falcons 23 Win:  Boy are the Phins for real!!!  Tannehill is turning out to be the future and the defense is good too.  Watch out Pat fans!!

Predictions for Week 3:

Kansas City Chiefs @ Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles have a strike-anytime offense, but the Chiefs pass rush and cornerbacks should be able to slow it down just long enough for Kansas City to pull out the win on the road.

Prediction: Chiefs 21, Eagles 17

Green Bay Packers @ Cincinnati Bengals

As good as Aaron Rodgers is, the Bengals D will keep him in check in front of their home crowd.

Prediction: Bengals 24, Packers 23

Detroit Lions @ Washington Redskins

The Redskins are going to keep giving up lots of points through the air, and RG3 doesn’t look healthy enough to keep pace.

Prediction: Lions 33, Redskins 24

Houston Texans @ Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens ran into a tough defense in the Browns, but they’ll have an even tougher challenge against the Texans’ vaunted defense this week. The difference here is the fact that the Texans have an offense that can move the ball much better than Cleveland.

Prediction: Texans 28, Ravens 24

Atlanta Falcons @ Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins are a lot better than people think, and a win over the Falcons will validate them as a team to beat in the AFC. The Dolphins also get the Falcons in Miami, which is an ideal situation against a team with a suspect defense and an ailing Roddy White.

Prediction: Dolphins 28, Falcons 23

Hole # 2 Is In The Books

The 2nd Hole is now complete and as you can see from the leaderboards, there’s quite a bit of movement up and down!  We can’t believe that there’s already been 29 entries eliminated from the Survivor Contest through the 2nd week! 

Admin time:  We’ve experienced a number of players having questions about their picks being recorded and saved.  After you’ve chosen both the Survivor picks (for those that are participating) and your regular picks, you must click the “Submit” button on the bottom of the page to secure them.  Before you leave that page, you should see in Green letters:  “Week # Picks Saved“.  If you don’t see that, then you didn’t get them submitted.   Folks, it’s up to you to see that your picks have been saved.  The rules are clear on this and we cannot enter them after the deadline.  Thanks for your attention to this very important matter.

Results for Hole # 1 Chippers Top 5:

Prediction: Saints 35, Falcons 31 Win:  This really didn’t turn out to be the offensive firework show that was anticipated.  Nonetheless, the Saints get an all important division win.

Prediction: Jets 5  Buccaneers 1 Win:  Uuuglyyy!!  Geno Smith had 2 TD passes and no INT’s so I guess that’s something.  Still don’t think that the Jets are gonna hit the Over on wins though. They have a much steeper climb in New England this week. 

Prediction: Jaguars 23, Chiefs 20 Loss:  Ok…the Jaguars do suck.  Maybe Tebow ain’t so bad afterall…

Prediction: Bears 17, Bengals 14 Win: Cutler and Da Bears overtake the Bengals in the 4th to get the win.  Cutler to Marshall connected in the 2nd half to get the win.

Prediction: Cowboys 30, Giants 23 Win: Finally, Jerry Jones gets a win in the Space Station against the G-Men!  Six TO’s for NY but Romo gets knocked around in the Dallas victory.

Prediction:  Chargers 27, Texans 24 Loss:  How do you give up a 3 TD lead at home?  Was Norv Turner still there??  Chargers let one get away in the conference that could haunt them down the line.

Total:  4 – 2 for the week and YTD.
