This is where I recap the previous games 6-Pack and give you a little preview of the upcoming 6-Pack. Here ya go for Hole #1:
The Chippers Top 5
Predictions for Week 1:
Atlanta Falcons @ New Orleans Saints
Since Sean Payton took over in 2006, New Orleans is 6-1 at the Superdome against Atlanta. Mark me down for the upset.
Prediction: Saints 35, Falcons 31
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New York Jets
The QB situation in New York is dicier than ever. You would think that Tampa Bay would take advantage of a struggling offense. I still don’t think much of Josh Freeman and because of that, this one will be a yawner but the Jets will come out with a “W” in week 1.
Prediction: Jets 5 Buccaneers 1
Kansas City Chiefs @ Jacksonville Jaguars
Upset of the Week Alert!! It’s easy to think that the Jags are a mess with no clear cut QB but a steady dose of MJD and a better than you think D will get a win out of the gate.
Prediction: Jaguars 23, Chiefs 20
Cincinnati Bengals @ Chicago Bears
Cover your eyes if you’re looking for offense. Good QB’s and good enough RB’s go up against two of the better D’s in the league. Two words: Patience and Turnovers. Home team takes it.
Prediction: Bears 17, Bengals 14
New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys
Dallas looks primed for a strong season on offense. Tony Romo and Dez Bryant were outstanding in the preseason, and Miles Austin is healthy. DeMarco Murray looks to play his first full season, too. With the G-Men on the mend, the Dallas offense should have enough to get the job done in week one.
Prediction: Cowboys 30, Giants 23
Houston Texans @ San Diego Chargers
It’s a Super Bowl-or-bust season for Houston. San Diego does enough to say Bust on Monday night.
Prediction: Chargers 27, Texans 24
