Predictions for Week 7:
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Buffalo Bills
The Bills are coming off a bye week and are at home. Tampa is heading out for the 2nd straight week and they haven’t been playing well and the QB Jameis Winston is beat up. All of that adds up to an easy Buffalo win right? Nope, not this year. The Bucs in a tight one.
Prediction: Buccaneers 20, Bills 17
Carolina Panthers @ Chicago Bears
The Panthers have had 10 days off since losing a home game to Philly. That’s still going to be in Cam Newton’s head. The Bears have a rookie QB in Mitch Trubisky, but the plan will be to have him manage the game against a decent defense. They can get it done at home and that’s what I see.
Prediction: Bears 23, Panthers 20
New Orleans Saints @ Green Bay Packers
Can backup QB Brett Hundley conjure up his inner A-Rog to keep the Packers alive? Probably. The Saints don’t play the same outside on the road so this is a spot the Packers have an advantage. Green Bay will play a good game defensively and slow down the Saints for the win.
Prediction: Packers 27, Saints 23
Baltimore Ravens @ Minnesota Vikings
The Ravens offense just ain’t getting it done (27th Total offense, 31st Passing Yds/Gm). The Vikings D is (11th in Total Defense, 3rd Rushing Yds/Gm). QB Sam Bradford doesn’t need to play in this one so he should get another week of rest on his bum knee. No contest for the Purple Ones.
Prediction: Vikings 24, Ravens 13
Washington Redskins @ Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles have risen to the top (by play and by injury) of the NFC and this week will show why. The defense is playing very well by getting to the QB. They should be able to cause enough of a ruckus to pressure QB Kirk Cousins into some bad decisions. The Philly Offense led by 2nd year phenom Carson Wence will attack a middle of the road Redskin D to get a solid divisional win.
Prediction: Eagles 30, Redskins 20
