Picks for Hole # 18 Divisionsal Games:
Atlanta Falcons @ Philadelphia Eagles
This probably would have been a much easier pick but with the absence of QB Carson Wentz for Philly, the pendulum has swung the other way. Atlanta is playing really good on both sides of the ball and the pass rush is on fire. That doesn't bode well for a statue like Nick Foles. He'll have to make quick decisions and get rid of the ball. He has a tendency to put the ball on the ground when smacked around. Philly has to run to be successful. The Eagles defense is pretty good but I don't see them lasting the game because the Eagle offense will go 3 and out a lot.
Prediction: Falcons 27, Eagles 17
Tennessee Titans @ New England Patriots
This should be over by the 1st quarter right? That's what the Chiefs thought last week. The Titans are sneaky good and the running game came to life against the 26th ranked defense in KC. The Patriots are worse at # 31 so on paper, the Titans should just run the ball every time. Yes the Patriots have Tom Terrific but everyone knows that when you pressure him, especially up the middle, he gets rattled and becomes less accurate. Let's face it, he's 40 and it'll be cold outside. A couple of nice hits on the old man and he'll start getting happy feet. There's turmoil in New England and I see the end of an era happening tomorrow nite. UPSET ALERT!!
Prediction: Titans 28, Patriots 27
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Pitttsburg Steelers
These two games on Sunday are the ones to watch. The Steelers have too much talent and experience to let this one get away from them at home. The James Harrison saga is behind them (for now) and the defense will jell and shut down the Jags offense. Yes, Jacksonville has a very good, young defense, but it's difficult to stop all 3 heads of the Pittsburg monster attack. I think the Steelers pull away late for an easy win.
Prediction: Steelers 34, Jaguars 24,
New Orleans Saints @ Minnesota Vikings
These two played in week 1 and the Vikings won easily, but they are a different team this time around and the Saints are at full speed. This will be the 1st playoff game for QB Case Keenum and that will be a factor to watch. The Viking defense is the best in the league but they'll have to contend with the "Thunder and Lightning" Saint running attack coming at all directions and oh ya, there's a guy named Brees that I hear is pretty good QB. Sorry Row, but I believe the Saints are a team of destiny with Brees and company marching on to take on the Falcons in the NFC Championship.
Prediction: Saints 27, Vikings 24
